Problem is that with the gulf, you never know if you will be able to go or not until a day or two before. In fact, I had other plans for this weekend that I am canceling because the marine forecast is good. Every time I have tried to plan a trip in advance, the weather/conditions have crapped out on me. That is just the way it goes unless you have a boat like my bertram (which is not fishable right now - needs a repower which will cost me $12k). I will keep you in mind though in case I plan a trip in advance any time soon.
