Dr. Scott Petrie of Orthopedic and Sports Clinic in Gonzales did an excellent job. Said he had lots of experience working on local sports team's injuries incl. LSU. I could tell he knows his job. He used a new L-shaped brace and 4X~2" screws that has only been available from Swiss orthopedic trauma equipment firm Synthese(sp?) for 2 months. Uses a locking screw head to attach screw to metal brace. He also had to use some sort of "plaster|cement" as glue in between the pieces, which will be replaced with bone over time.
