[brlug-general] near Gentoo experience?

Mepis, with it's unstable links, has brought me KDE 3.2.  All I can say is 
wow!  It spell checks my Slashdot posts.  I liked the little blue house and 
the shell-konsole icon better than the red house and flat screen, but the 
overall is beautiful.  Konquror now rocks.
