This is encouraging and I see much better things in the future. I can imagine giving patrons logon IDs that follow them through the library and remember their settings. Email and web hosting should be doable too.
Is this "lockdown" stuff a Windows hangover? Is the world of public computer terminals really bad enough to break the average Linux distro? I know that simplicity is nice, but how much do you really have to strip down to avoid a local exploit?
