When I say "lockdown" stuff. I mean, I don't want people to open the home directory and save files. I don't want them to change the background on the desktop. I don't want them to change the home page in the web browser. There's basically a list of things you don't want people changing when a computer is in a public access area. In windows it's pretty difficult to modify IE so that it doesn't show the Tools menu option, but with Firefox it was mostly a piece of cake. The hardest part was testing and switching back and forth so much to make sure I had it just the way I wanted. The guys from Maryland will be sending me a copy of their CD. If anyone wants a copy let me know. BB
