That's a nice list and I'm glad that it's being updated. I've used QCad a little. It is a nice 2D package that imports DXF. The version in Woody worked just fine. PythonCAD looks like a winner, but I have not tried it out yet.
River Bend used tiff files for drawing archives. The drawings were made with autocad but everyone had access to them. They could have been using QCad for all they were doing. LigumCAD looks like the package of the future. I've heard great things about commercial software packages that work the way Ligum wants to. I'm going to see what version of qcad and other GPL cad are available in unstable.
