I use Vonage, and I like it.  I have tried my ATA behind my firewall
(where I think it currently is) and in front of it.

There's another service called packet8 http://www.packet8.com that is
a little cheaper than Vonage.

I'll send you an invite to Vonage if you like, and it'll entitle you
to a free month of service.

btw: with Vonage I can add a Baton Rouge phone number for $5/month and
allow you to call me in Jackson, MS for the cost of a local call.
