If Commercials are displayed in a "banner" area all the time, you can
bet I'll get out my duct tape and cover the bottom 10% of my TV.... or
is this against the DMCA? ;)

I can handle product placement MUCH better than any other forms of
advertisment.  As long as it doesn't get in the way of the show.
Or how about commercial free "brought to you by" shows.  "Fear Factor:
Brought to you by Depends undergarments and Pepto Bismol"
