I am trying to connect to some switches (HP ProCurve and Vertical Horizon) through the console port. I have a usb to serial converter, a null modem and the serial cable but I cannot get my term program(s) -- Zterm and minicom -- to connect. The serial converter is working and shows up as /dev/cu.USA19H3b1P1.1
If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. I am running OS X 10.3.7 Thanks, Jeff Lee
