Well, I work at a library so lets see: K12LTSP terminal server pushing out browser only kios machines for card catalog access
K12LTSP server pushing out linux desktop to older machines for public use coyote linux on a 166mhz running as the firewall for our public wifi access points to prevent them from getting to staff machines. installed knoppix desktop at my desk a backup dns server for .lib.la.us a web server server for www.vermilion.lib.la.us fixing to have a linux server running our automation server http://www.atriuum.com one of the K12LTSP servers pulls backup duty for our automation server. I have another linux server running the K12LTSP distro, but not used as a terminal server, this one is running squid/squidguard to provide filtering for 7 libraries in the parish. I have another machine running melancon.org The same computer that does the card catalog terminals and automation system backup also has a 2m ham radio hooked up to it and is providing an i-gate service for local APRS traffic. Also, my grandma (84) is running ubuntu, as well as my 16 year old step sister, and both have no problems. I also use knoppix all over the place for various reasons. Thats all I can think of for right now... Does my tivo count?
