I'll tell you what I don't use linux for...
counterstrike.

My graphics card has horrible 3d support under linux (matrox g450 dual 
head).

Support for a scanner that scans negatives (for my girlfriend)

That and the occasional yahoo webcam conference thingy.

Other than that, linux, all around the board.
