And I think that projects like Guarddog, a GUI firewall program that uses IPtables, and other programs that "dumb down" system administration are a great idea. Security and ease of use do not have to conflict. Giving the user reasonable defaults, warnings and easy to use tools does not have to create a box with a four minute network half life.
