Terry, Have subscribed. Looks interesting.
Have been struggling with a problem that might have been encountered by others. Rebuilt a Panasonic Toughbook laptop that had been sold surplus without hard drive. Installed Win98SE and Mephis with no serious problems. When I bought and attempted to install a WiFi card, I had no success getting the first, a Belkin product, to actually work in an internet cafe. A clone shop suggested I might have better luck with a Motorola PCMIA card, but now I have only managed to mangle Windows. So, over the weekend I will reformat the C partition and reinstall Win98SE. Am not open to using a later version of Windows, since some hardware and software doesn't work with it, particularly my laser printer. But I am curious if anyone else around has been able to get a PCMIA WiFi card to work under Win98SE. Driver disk came with card. Can see the signal strength, but not connect, both at cafe and at Clickers. Choppy
