Well, there are current (2.6) kernel source available for it so I'm probably good as long as the harddrive doesn't die. It uses a specific module, not usbfs, cpqpjb. Someone apparently worked on a virtual filesystem like layer for it but I tried it a long time ago and it was broken. The pjb doesn't really have a filesystem on the harddrive -- data is written to it in a very raw fashion and song locations are tracked via an index file. Thus you can't pull it out and hang it off an IDE adapter.
