Daniel,

Shannon pretty much hit the nail on the head for ISP's around here, 
unfortunately, there isn't a wide selection. In the residential market, Cox and 
Bellsouth share about 90% of the market -- you can forget about knowledgeable 
staff, 60 second hold times are a dream and both (last time I checked) 
explicitly forbid you to share your connection with neighbors.

The only other ISP I can think of off the top of my head is the old BRWireless, 
now BroadbandIP (see http://www.broadbandip.net). I've done some work with 
those guys before, while they are a small shop, a lot of times that can be an 
advantage.

Just some thoughts...
