Yes, if you look at the speed vs. price.
Last time I checked T1 prices in New Orleans area, you can not find 
anything for under $400, and I believe those companies might not even 
operate here anymore....

But what is a real highway robbery, is the pricing for ISDN. We just got 
couple of them set up in the Film studio. For some weird reason 
hollywood is still using ISDN for remote monitoring of a ADR sessions 
(Automated dialogue replacement / post-sync). If I remember correctly it 
is $250/mo/line (dual 64kbps) then $0.08/minute for long distance / channel.

One would think film industry would have figured out how to utilize 
internet speeds for monitoring and even recording voice remotely, but 
nope.... Must have obsoleted ISDN technology with extremely expensive 
encoder/decoder hardware on both sides.
