Hello from Shreveport,
I have been trying to get my wireless to work on my laptop(toshiba satellite
c655-s5049), for the last 6 months. I have tried all the major distros, ubuntu,
fedora, opensuse, etc., they all do the same. It shows my wireless working
(atheros 9825) and to be connected but, when i open firefox it says no
connection. So, recently I ran knoppix 6.2 and my wireless works with no
problems ! I would like to get it working on the other distros. There are no
linux groups or gurus in my area. Does anyone have any ideas ? Thanks for any
help.
