The primary key on a table in the restored data was missing. I manually
recreated it and am back in business. This was just one of several
problems I had to sort through in the upgrade from XP to 7. Finally
resolved all issues. Glad I don't do tech support for a living. Pretty
nerve-wracking. *whew*

From a troubleshooting standpoint, I would double check the db to
ensure that any keys and sequences were generated properly and with
the right permissions. If that all looks OK I would debug the
queries the GIS software is sending to the system to see if that will
provide any clues as to why the columns are missing.

Today, I'm restoring my data to a new Windows 7 setup. When I get
my data into the QuantumGIS software the primary key column is
missing. Everything seems ok in pgAdmin; the columns are all
there. Any thoughts?
