I have implemented some applications in J on my iPad and I want to use them now
on my MacBook. Unfortunately I do not get along properly with version 7. The
handbooks which I know like the Primer do not cover the handling of this
version. For instance I am not even able to load plot

| 0!:0 y[4!:55<'y')
or mathematical function form the addons. What does "scratch" mean?
Is there a simple but comprehensive introduction for version 7 on the Mac
possibly enriched with sample code?.
