Yes it runs in client/server mode, but really slow.
It's somewhat like the good old times with a modem at 9600 baud.
It has nothing to do with a real IP address instead of loopback 127.0.0.1,
but I haven't figured out, where the problem is.
I will do some investigation work on this issue.

PS: Which mobile device are you using?
I tried an iPad, but found that Qooxdoo in Desktop mode
does not work very well with the iPad Safari.
