You included 2 different reports in the same message. the jqt
issues should be posted to the jbeta forum.

the qjide, you must edit the configuration section in file qjide.py first.
At least the lines JInsFol and JDynLib have to be changed for mac.

for the jqt issue I'll respond in a separate post in the jbeta
list.
