Kip, I accept that most folks have difficulty with J's order of operations for a while. I would hope that with practice, that becomes a minor distraction. Don't some students use RPN calculators, too. And those are quite different from traditional algebra operator precedence.
My experience was without calculations, and only using the system for communications, so I was hoping to learn more about people's experiences using the technology in that way. The availability of J as a calculation/communication assist is an added feature, in my eyes. Thanks for making your valuable point, too.
