I remember a number of years in the '90s when I was slowly absorbing
everything I could read about J (but it seems like every time I look
there's a whole bunch of things I never really learned -- like the
phrases stuff, and lots of addons -- did I mention that I learn
slowly??).

Anyways... the "no time at all" part maybe happened after that?
