   dir 'j/temp'

(Learn about dot-commands by typing a single dot.)

The advantage of .d is to give you a list of re-inputtable J sentences in
place of a bald Linux-stye "ls" listing.
(But you may wish to overtype work with see -which outputs the updated text
to the session.)
