Thanks for telling me about Gboard, Bill. I was going to suggest Pythonista. It comes with a (general-purpose) keyboard you can configure by programming it in Python. It's something we could copy for J. Had I a team of 100 enthusiastic young J programmers, I'd certainly put one on the job.
