Yes Bill, I do use iPad. I don't own an iPhone. I've always thought it's a
lousy choice of platform for an IDE.
But if enough people are making serious use of j701 on it, then I suppose I
shall have to think again.

However I'm poorly placed to attempt more than a codged-up solution. It's
already beyond my resources to support iPhone models that can't upgrade to
the latest version of iOS. (I've tried.)

But at last I begin to understand the problem. Is it widely shared?

There's a ray of hope. I'm hi-priority studying how best to port a
recognizable TABULA interface to iOS… and there's definitely a market for
that. It has a 2x16 icon toolbar. If I can achieve good results with that,
then I can use the same technique to cobble-up something resembling the
j701 keyboard.
