i'm just a lowly jakarta-velocity-tools committer sitting on the streetcorner
holding a "no karma. please help!" sign.
you should have access to jakarta.apache.org. If not, we need to ask infrastructure@, and then you can do it
Or once it's in CVS, I can do it.
3. In terms of actually putting the release out there, the commons'
guide(http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/releases.html) also speaks of logging
into jakarta.apache.org. Anyone with karma wanna lend a hand?
Same for docs - you'd put the release tgz, zip and md5 sigs out there.
4. i'd also like to update the main jakarta site pages with appropriate
notice of this release (if/when i figure out how to make it happen). So, can
i get karma for jakarta-site2 as well?
done. if it's a problem that I just did it (Nathan's been a Velocity tools committer for a while, and a good guy for far longer than that...), let me know.
