Yes - we do the same elsewhere - do the gen of docs, checking the xml and html, and then on the server, co the docs.
3. In terms of actually putting the release out there, the commons' guide(http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/releases.html) also speaks of logging into jakarta.apache.org. Anyone with karma wanna lend a hand?
Same for docs - you'd put the release tgz, zip and md5 sigs out there.
oh yeah, md5 sigs. heh. guess i need to figure out how to do that stuff too.
