I see this issue shared by many. Why don't we file an INFRA/JIRA request
for a Confluence space named "JAMES"? If I understand it the only
problem is that very few volunteer are enabled to do that but I saw that
today 2 spaces have been created after a month of "stall". Maybe the
volunteer with the right karma is right there right now ;-)

Maybe creating a new space is not a big issue for them and once we have
the space we can decide whether to start using it as a news/blogging
tool and then maybe in future we'll move there some of our moin-moin
wiki or some of our website (with auto-export enabled like other
projects did).

If I understand it, using an Apache hosted confluence space (on
cwiki.apache.org) and placing there the news feed would resolve the
reservations shown here.

Should I start a vote for this? WDYT?

Back on topic, here is my vote for the current thread:
[X] +0 I don't care, or better, it's up to you (you, willing to use the
blog)

I don't think the blog will simplify *my* workflow as most time I added
a news I also had to publish something else in the website and the
website workflow is really "poor" now, but I can't avoid it at all even
if we introduce the blog. BUT if Danny and/or anyone else is willing to
use the Blog then it is really a welcome improvement.

Stefano
