Perhaps a Mac guru will provide some insight for you problem. It doesn't
occur on my Mac mini out of the box.
From your report I assume running jw, after getting the error message,
that J runs properly.
The error indicates problems with stuff in /Users/kolek/.... This may be
normal on an iMac notebook, but as it is in User it sounds like some
customization that you have added to the base system. Do you have the
referenced stuff in /Users/kolek or is some other part of the system
trying to use something that isn't installed?
The J java application is pretty simple and standard. Can you try other
Java applications to see if they have the same problem. A simple Java
text editor would be a good test.
The important part of J.app is the shell script jwx. J.app is just a
framework around running jwx. Take a look at how jwx differs from jw and
see if there is some simple tweak that allows it to also ignore the
error.
Good luck and keep us posted.

After installing j601b on an Intel iMac I'm able to run both jconsole
and jw, but jw produces a java error before popping up its window.
~/j601/jw
2006-11-14 22:23:42.591 java[399] *** -[NSBundle load]: Error loading
code /Users/kolek/Library/InputManagers/CPNoteBook/CPNoteBook.bundle/
Contents/MacOS/CPNoteBook for bundle /Users/kolek/Library/
InputManagers/CPNoteBook/CPNoteBook.bundle, error code 2 (link edit
error code 0, error number 0 ())
Also the big red J icon won't launch jw. I suspect the error return
interferes with that. Anyone out there have a clue for me?
Thanks,
