I don't understand either problem, and you need to experiment to find out what is going wrong. As regards the domain error, what is the value of SYSTEMFOLDERS and USERFOLDERS? They are defined in the j locale. What Java are you running? J needs Sun java, see also notes in http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/System/Installation/Linux#JwdProblems . Do you have your own startup script? Do these problems occur with a standard installation with no startup script?
