we have these incredible computers now but i just can't find software to power them for iterative math problems. J gave me an out of memory error for the euler-mascheroni constant at 100,000,000 iterations and incidentally the abstruse formula my emeritus friend prof gave me did not give me the right answer after 3 or 4 figures. my ti n spire cas 'calculator' gives me 14 sig figs and no out of memory error at 100,000,000 iterations and it is child's play to program thanks dick (dieter) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
