Hi Miodrag,

I got 10.6.4 and J is working.

To get this to work:
1. Click on Finder
2. Press CMD+SHIFT+U
3. Double-Click on Java Preferences
4. In the Java Applications frame in the General Tab, make sure that the
sequence is this:
* Java SE 6 - 32 bit
* Java SE 6 - 64 bit
and both of them are TICKED!

Go back and execute J. :)

r/Alex

Subject: [Jgeneral] Failed to get Java metrics

I'm sad to report that I can't get J started on my Mac anymore at all
because of the "Failed to get Java metrics" problem. Looks like the last
message in forum on this was back in the ancient 08 and I don't see a
definitive solution. I haven't been using J maybe in a month or so and I
don't know what changed on my Mac, maybe Java. OS version is 10.6.4 and Java
is whatever is the latest Apple gave me. I used to have this problem but I'd
always manage to get it started after a few tries, not anymore. Anybody else
has this problem, and hopefully a solution?
