My J development is also REPL heavy, but if it involves definitions, REPL uses tmp files (usually numbered files in the temp directory) or sometimes "real files". But the risk is that I might have used a definition in an earlier version of a file but it no longer exists. I typically do not find out about this kind of problem until days later (because when it arises I am not thinking about this issue). -- Raul ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
