After starting JHS you can use the browser and there you go for link/jal
and there you choose the addons you want.
As I do I choose all of them.

If you instead use GTK part you get a term window and there you choose
tools/package manager and there you can choose the addons too.

The end result is the same and after installing the addons you will be able
to choose studio/labs in JHS or help/studio/labs in GTK
