I'm not quite sure that I want the UN to have that kind of power, seeing as Libya and Iraq are being heralded for their "Humanitarianism". Libya is leading humanitarian committees and Iraq is supposedly soon to be a part as well. Give me a break.

Demand that when one country interacts with another in some way that they
cannot do so without UN approval. In the best of worlds, this would be a
good thing to require. But, knowing that the UN can never decide in a
timely
fashion means that the interaction will not happen for a very long time. At
least, this has been the case historically. Sometimes 'slow' is good. But
not always.
