mutilated misquotes from Collins Richey's 6 Apr 2005 classic prose
may follow:

" "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us " with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." " - Galileo Galilei
" A really good quote, but unfortunately quite un-PC. It's not really " accepted practice these days to tout that God endowed us with " anything, most especially not in courthouses <grin>.
There are only two basic, and mutually exclusive, approaches for men to use in dealing with each other: [faith and force] or [reason and trade].
What do you mean by "dealing with each other?" Sorry, it seems to me that in the case of men dealing with each other in interpersonal relationships, faith and reason are not mutually exclusive, nor does faith require force in such interpersonal interaction. Now if you mean the political dealings of men, you might have raised a point worthy of consideration. But I'd still tend to doubt your theory.
