I thought I'd posted this question on the group before, but looking through my notes I couldn't find that I had. My apologies if this is a repeat. I installed OFED 1.3.0.0.4 on a system with an older, MT23108 HCA running 3.05 firmware. The HCA is known to work with QuickSilver. When I rebooted I got this: Feb 18 13:06:02 newberry kernel: ib_mthca: Mellanox InfiniBand HCA driver v0.08 (February 14, 2006) Feb 18 13:06:02 newberry kernel: ib_mthca: Initializing 0000:04:00.0 Feb 18 13:06:02 newberry kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:04:00.0[A] -> GSI 28 (level, low) -> IRQ 217 Feb 18 13:06:02 newberry kernel: ib_mthca 0000:04:00.0: PCI device did not come back after reset, aborting. Feb 18 13:06:02 newberry kernel: ib_mthca 0000:04:00.0: Failed to reset HCA, aborting. The system is running RHEL4, update 4, x86_64. Are older HCAs supported with OFED or can only Arbel and Connect-X type HCAs usable? -- Michael Heinz Principal Engineer, Qlogic Corporation King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
