The plan sounds good to me. But we should get rid of m2releases and move them to sonatype repo, from which are automatically synced to maven central.Then we have to change the poms of those artifacts that are already going to m2releases to go to sonatype repo according to this instructions: https://docs.sonatype.com/display/NX/OSS+Repository+Hosting
