AFIK, tel-plugin-vmodem is opening /dev/dpram/0 , which is dual port
ram. Video RAM or VRAM <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_RAM> is a common
form of dual-ported dynamic
RAM<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_random_access_memory>mostly
used for video memory, allowing the
CPU <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_processing_unit> to draw the
image at the same time the video hardware is reading it out to the
screen(from wikipedia). So I do not think tel-plugin-vmodem is HAL plugin
for the tel-plugin-atmodem. Please correct if I am wrong.
