Hello again,
there are a few more things to add:
- first, our Tru64 indexer doesn't seem to understand the -v option. It doesn't spit
out anything whatsoever.
- to get more info I used our 3.1.17 Solaris installation against the same Oracle
database. Again, when the 'server' URL is specified in the indexer.conf file the
indexer works fine. As soon as we put the same URL in the 'server' table the indexer
says:
indexer from mnogosearch-3.1.17/UdmDB started with
'/usr/local/mnogosearch/etc/indexer.conf'
[1] Load stopword table 'stopword'
[1] Load server table 'server'
[1] Done (0 seconds)
... and that's it.
Your advice will be much appreciated.
