Hello Robert,

Thanks for your interest and report.  We're aware of the problem and 
workaround, as noted in our wiki [1] and in the above mentioned issue, 
but what we're not clear on is why it happens and how to avoid forcing 
users to ditch the DTD.

Timeplot reuses components of Timeline, and there have been reports of 
DTD removal being a workaround for some issues in Timeline as well, 
though only in IE.

That's as much as I know.  Anything you can add would be much appreciated.
