David, I removed the <div> you mentioned and indeed it did start working. I was trying to piecemeal together ideas from the various Wiki pages and the Presidents example exhibit and thought that I knew what that div was responsible for. Turns out I had the wrong idea.

In which case, all of the data should be of the generic type "Item". So, could you try to remove <div ex:role="collection" ex:itemTypes="Composer"></div> from your code and see if that helps?
