OK I know the last thing the Exhibit team need is more things to do but I
thought I'd just document this idea, and see if anyone else thinks it would be
useful.
A numerical min/max facet.
For example this would allow the user to filter according to some arbitrary
beginning and end dates (1918 - 1939), I guess this could be made pretty by
using a slider.
Also by using this facet on lat/long values it would be possible to filter
items according to an arbitrary rectangle. Ideally you should be able to draw
this on the map but that would require much more work.

PS Would it be good to add such thoughts to the Simile Issue tracking, I don't
want to clutter up JIRA.
