yes, for instance copy samples from http://simile.mit.edu/repository/timeline/trunk/src/webapp/examples/index.html or rather one example http://simile.mit.edu/repository/timeline/trunk/src/webapp/examples/monet/monet.html and check the HTML for the Javascripts which also need to be copied and of course the XML which contains the actual data.
