Sigh.

I don't recall seeing anybody say that anybody else *had* to use Anakia.
What started this thread was somebody asking if they were *precluded* from
using Anakia.

When all is said and done, Stylebook continues to be as broken as ever.

>From my point of view, the options I see it are:

1) Be a pioneer and spend time that you don't necessarily have plenty of to
pave the way for producing a site using docbook and cocoon2 (and therefore
XSLT). Perhaps in the process designing a new layout that isn't so
graphics intensive.

2) Use largely unsupported and generally combersome tool named Stylebook.

3) Use the well documented but non-standard Anakia tool.

- or -

4) wait for somebody else to pave the way on #1 and follow their lead.

At the moment, I am sitting at #4 myself. At some point, I may switch to
#3, but not just yet. If I do, it isn't because I'm thumbing my nose at
standards, or am distainful of the great work done here, but rather because
I simply want to post some content to the web without expending a lot of
effort.
