Hello Sean,
yes, this way you should be able to find fast somebody, and then you click on
the view button to see all details (Person dialog box),
or you can click
on father, mother, spouce (latest) View-button to navigate to that person
(two options: this navigation opens a person dialog box, or it displays this
person in the "preview / main window"; this latest will allow easy to
navigate to a grandfather, but not in the other direction)
Maybe a "View family" button should also be there in the preview-part
(At work I was recently also working on a filter for a list-gadget ...)
