Thaks for the concern, I've been known to overextend my
volunteerism lately. There's just one more exam, which shouldn't be too
difficult (how hard can an introductory VB exam really be...). However,
the screenshots that I meant are ones that I started on some time ago, so
I'm skipping study time to work on this. Next semester, I've got only one
course, Humanities, and I FINALLY (on the 15-year plan with a 10-year
hiatus in the middle) get my degree.

Anyway, the more I thought about this view, the more I liked the
possibilities that it created for finding individuals. There are only a
couple things that I would add...

We should allow the user to search and view data based on location as
well. This would simplify research when the user goes to a repository
that specializes in a certain locality (like for census records).

Also, it would be nice if the user could select to sort the view on any of
the displayed columns, much like many of the MS products do, when the user
clicks on the column header. I'll have to get the gtk docs, but we should
be able to do this as well.
