I also tried to setup a network between a Amiga, PC, Sparc and Network
printer.
I have the following setup:
Computer IP Netmask Gateway
Amiga 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.3
PC 192.168.0.3 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.3
Printer 192.168.0.4 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.3
Ping from the amiga to PC or Printer and from the PC to the Amiga or
printer is working perfect.
I have installed telnetd, ftpd, pop2, pop3 and Samba on the Amiga as
described in the documentation.
Now Ftp and telnet from the PC is working perfect, but when I try to
contact the PC from my Amiga I get a request denied. This happens when
I use FTP, Telnet or samba client.
What I want is to have a LAN that uses a PC as Gateway to the internet
and the LAN so that it is possible for my Amiga to surf on the net and
read my email from my provider. I also want to be able to go to a net:
assign and read file from the PC's HD.
How do I setup the PC to be able to get such a LAN.
