If Genesis is not on-line before the first time Yam is started, then
Yam will not get or send even after Genesis is put on-line. If YAM has
seen Genesis on line once. then it acccepts correction of the later
off-line status.

In my experience running out of stack causes an instant reset--no
freeze up or error message. StackAttack cured all of those. I'm sure
your crash is not stack related.
